good to see you back, you've improved drastically since you last uploaded something. i have almost no complaints about this, basically everything works together really well and it also reminds me of some of the earlier works of waterflame. the touhou bells might be a little out of place, i would've probably used some sort of analog bells instead, but it's fine. beat switch at 1:58 was nice too.

overall a very good track, excited to see what you make in the future c:

RusNG responds:

Hello Arclight, great to see you here. Thank you so much for the review! I haven't actually even practiced anything during my break, just entirely forgot about making music and it seems like it helped me get back on track quite well. Earlier Waterflame works were a pretty good thing to say!

Yeah, the bell choice; I find that these Touhou bells seemed the best for the vibe I was looking to create, but I appreciate the feedback on it.

Yup, more is coming! ;)

solid for a first song, good job

i've been waiting for this

by the way, can you upload Lucid Dreamers?

TrustaMusic responds:

perhaps!

Way better than anything you posted before, love the inferno at the end.

Also if you want the track louder there IS a built-in mastering feature in FL (if you have FL cloud), it's super useful for getting that baseline standard loudness in your mixes

RusNG responds:

Hi! Thanks for the review :)
Yeah, audio levels should now be pretty balanced with the rest of my profile.
Thanks for the tip! Looked at some plugins in FL cloud overall, and found some I might use in the future.
With the volume balance, I also made some small adjustments with the rest of the song. Some things sound a little bit better now, I think. I've now spent enough time with this one tho lol.

spotify?

Tapestoppa responds:

I don't think thats gonna happen dude, sorry.

Troisnyx responds:

Seconding Tapestoppa: for most releases under my name (Troisnyx), I feel remiss to support Daniel Ek's enterprise

ADR3-N responds:

I think there may be distros that allow us to pick and choose which platforms we want our music on. There may be a way to say, not have it on spotify, but have it on deezer, amazon, YouTube, snap, apple, and everything but.

I have my own reservations about the Spotify debacle and how it's screwing musicians everywhere, robbing us of royalties, but I also don't want to say screw you to my fans, who may have chosen that service because they can't afford anything else, or don't know anything else

love it
